Hello, my name is Matt and I’m the face behind Sunset Electrical. I’m a third generation Electrician, my grandfather and uncle were both sparkies back in the day. I’ve worked my way up through the ranks in the industry, on a wide range of projects from new builds and refurbishments to maintenance and repairs. In 2020 I decided the time was right to take everything I’d learnt over the years and put it into my own business, at this point Sunset Electrical was created.

When I started the business my aim was to offer two main things. The first is to provide quality electrical services, I’ve always had high standards, every one of our installations is carried out to the highest level and in accordance with the current wiring regulations. It doesn’t matter how big or small the job we will always walk away proud of our work.

The second priority is to offer proper customer service. We’ve all experienced tradespeople just turning up when they feel like with a toolbox and a poor attitude, it’s not good enough. I want to make having work carried out as enjoyable as possible, it’s often simple stuff like decent communication and turning up as arranged. I’m a people person, friendly, approachable and I’ll always go the extra mile to help. I like to visit initially for a chat and to get a proper idea of what’s required, we don’t charge for estimates and I’m happy to give advice along the way, there’s also a section on here with some advice and tips too!
